Serra Akçaoğlu
Chair of the Board / Citibank Turkey CEO & Board Member
Serra Akçaoğlu was named Citi’s Country Officer for Turkey in August 2021.
Prior to assuming her current position, Serra Akçaoğlu was Head of Consumer & Commercial Banking and a Board Member at Citi Turkey.
Previously, Serra Akcaoglu was the EMEA Trade Services & Finance Head for Citi’s Global Transaction Services based in London. In this role, she was responsible for trade finance and the regional strategy of the trade products, new product development and positioning of 50 countries located in this wide region. At the same time, she was a member of the Citi Global Trade Management Committee.
Serra Akçaoğlu joined Citi in 2021. Other previous roles have included: Cluster Head of Global Transaction Services for Turkey, Israel & Turcic Republics covering GTS, FI, NPC & GSG as well as Head of Trade for Turkey.
Prior to joining Citi, Serra Akçaoğlu has worked in the local Kocbank and served as the Regional Head of Corporate, Commercial, Consumer Businesses and Risk. Prior to that, she has worked as a Senior Banker in the Corporate Bank at Manufacturers Hanover and Chemical Bank (now JP Morgan).
Serra Akçaoğlu is the Chairman of the American Business Forum in Turkey (ABFT), the Vice Chairman of Turkish-American Business Council (TAİK) and Deputy Chairwoman of Women Corporate Directors (WCD).
Serra Akçaoğlu graduated from the Bosphorus University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
Tankut Turnaoğlu
Procter & Gamble Chairman of the Board, Turkey and Caucasus
Tankut Turnaoğlu has taken over the position as the second Turkish CEO in P&G Turkey. Tankut Turnaoğlu began his career at Eczacibasi - Procter & Gamble joint venture as Assistant Brand Manager on oral care business in 1991. Turnaoğlu led many successful projects such as Pringles launch, Ace relaunch with brand's icon "Aunt Ayse" character. He worked in P&G Central Asia and Caucasus as Country Manager where he led an organization of 125 employees. He was appointed Marketing Director of Beauty and Personal Care categories at P&G Turkey in 2021. Between the years of 2021-2021, Turnaoğlu worked as Global Business Unit (GBU) Marketing Director of Central and Eastern European Laundry business. In 2021, he was promoted as General Manager and relocated to Singapore to lead P&G Asia and Australia Fabric Care business. He has been appointed as the Chairman of the Board of P&G Turkey by March 2021. P&G Turkey will continue to touch and improve the lives of Turkish consumers under the leadership of Tankut Turnaoğlu.
Canan Özsoy
GE Turkey President and CEO
Canan Özsoy is the President and CEO of GE Turkey, a post she has held since August 2021. Özsoy is responsible for developing and leading GE’s growth strategy in Turkey with a focus on strengthening partnerships, driving localization and promoting innovation-based growth.
Canan was born in Istanbul, Turkey. She attended the University of Istanbul and graduated with a doctorate degree in Dental Medicine in 1985. She worked as a Doctor of Dental Medicine until she joined the Pharmaceutical Industry at the end of 1989. After she worked on various marketing and commercial leadership roles, she moved to Paris for a global marketing leadership position in pharmaceutical industry in 2021.
Canan received her master of business administration degree from Bosphorus University. After working 4 years based out of France as Global Leader for Metabolic Diseases, in March 2021 she joined GE Healthcare as VP of Marketing for Region International, responsible from Europe, Asia, Middle East, Africa & China. In March 2021 she was appointed as Chief Marketing Officer of Healthcare Systems and she moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin to join the Global Leadership team and worked on innovation, strategy and marketing of new products. In November 2021 she has been promoted to Global General Manager of Mammography and has moved back to Paris, France to lead our Mammography business.
In August 2021, Canan Özsoy, has been appointed as the President and CEO in Turkey, assumed the responsibility for the growth of GE in Turkey.
Tamer Özmen
Microsoft Turkey, CEO
Mr. Tamer Ozmen joined Microsoft in February 2021 from Orange/France Telecom. Based in the UK, he was in charge of managing Orange’s $1.2 bn Online Division.
Mr. Ozmen started his career as a member in the team that started Priceline.com in the US in mid 90s. Running a budget of $1.4 bn as Sr. VP Products and Sales, Mr. Ozmen was instrumental in company’s successful IPO. He also started the international sales arm of the company. He was later sent to Europe to start Priceline Europe in London.
Mr. Ozmen holds a MS degree in Industrial Engineering from LSU and BSc degree in Civil Engineering from Istanbul Technical University. He is married with three young children.
İhsan Necipoğlu
Dow, General Manager Turkey & Central Asia
İhsan Necipoglu is the General Manager of Turkey and Central Asian Republics. He is located in Istanbul, Turkey. In this role, he is responsible for defining and driving the strategy of the geography, collaborating with the commercial and functional teams.
Prior to being appointed to this role in January 2021, İhsan Necipoglu was Sales Director of Styrenix and Performance Materials of MEA & India Betmaster & Eastern Europe regions and added responsibility for the Turkey’s Country Management.
He joined Dow in Istanbul, Turkey in 1983, as a Field Seller in the Plastics business and over his 30+ year career with Dow, he held a variety of increasingly responsible assignments, both domestic and international, in the company’s Business and Geographical organizations.
İhsan Necipoglu started his career as a Sales Engineer in Shell Company in Turkey on January 1982.
İhsan Necipoglu holds a bachelor’s degree in Polymer Science & Technology from University of Manchester and Master degree in Technical Science in Polymers from Sheffield University. He is married and has one daughter.
Mine Öztürk

Mine has over 20 years of experience of managing local Turkish, international and global assignments with companies such as Johnson&Johnson, Boston Scientific and General Electric.
She has worked both in Turkey and USA in commercial and global marketing roles. Recently she was the Managing Partner of Sinerji Aktif Business Consultancy Company. Mine holds an MBA from Marmara University of Istanbul.
Neil Pryor
PepsiCo, General Manager
Neil joined PepsiCo in 2021 and in January 2021 he was appointed PepsiCo Turkey General Manager with the responsibility of integratıng the Beverages and Snacks Businesses.
Prior to his current role, Neil served as Senior Vice President Sales of PepsiCo Mexico Foods with responsibility for the integration of 22,000 member Sabritas, Gamesa and Quaker sales organizations. Before leading the Sales team in Mexico, Neil served in various operational roles including the Region Vice President of the North East Region for Frito Lay North America.
Neil began his professional career on Wall Street in the M&A practice of a law firm, after which he spent approximately six years restructuring and developing growth strategies for Consumer Products distribution and wholesale businesses. During thıs tıme, he also founded a beverage company.
Neil holds a Bachelor of Arts, Magna Cum Laude International Relations, Tufts University, a Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School, a Master of Arts, International Affairs, from Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University, and a Certificat d’ Etudes Politiques, L’Institut d’ Etudes Politiques de Paris, France. Daniel R. Matthews

Daniel Matthews is the managing partner of the Istanbul office of the international law firm Baker & McKenzie. A member of his firm’s Energy, Mining & Infrastructure Industry Group and its Banking & Finance Practice Group, he advises on all types of cross-border finance transactions, including financing in the energy industry. He also advises on transaction structuring, credit support, taxation, customs and currency control issues. Before relocating to Istanbul in 2021, he was the managing partner of Baker & McKenzie’s Baku office. During his tenure in Baku, he also served as President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Azerbaijan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Junior Achievement Azerbaijan, and a member of the Board of Trustees of Eurasia Partnership Foundation.
Prior to his appointment as managing partner of the Baku office, he worked for several years in the Firm’s Moscow office.
A member of the Florida Bar, Daniel is a 1986 graduate of the University of Florida College of Law where he was a member of the Law Review. He also received an undergraduate degree from that same university in Political Science with a concentration in Soviet and East European Studies.
Haluk Yalçın

After graduating from the Economics Department at Istanbul’s Bosphorus University in 1988, Haluk joined the PwC Turkey Istanbul office. He was then admitted to PwC partnership in 1998. In 2021 Haluk was appointed as Territory Senior Partner of PwC Turkey.
During his distinguished career, Haluk has gained extensive experience in audits, due diligence and public offering projects, not only during his work in Turkey but also in Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkmenistan.
Haluk is specialised in the Financial Services, Communications and Technology industries. Before taking his role as the Country Leader, in addition to the services he provided to his clients, he also served in different intervals as PwC Turkey's Financial Services and Communications Industries Leader, Human Resources Leader, Territory Risk and Quality Leader as well as PwC Azerbaijan's Assurance and Business Advisory Services Leader.
Haluk is a Certified Public Accountant (SMMM) and also is licensed as a Capital Markets Board Independent Auditor. He is one of the Istanbul delegates of TURMOB - The Union of Chambers of Certified Public Accountants of Turkey and a member of the Independent Auditors Association, TUSIAD - Turkish Industry and Business Association and the Risk Managers Association of Turkey.
Dilek Mutuş
Wells Fargo Executive Vice President and EVP and GFI Head, TRAMS
Dilek Mutus is an executive vice president and head of the Turkey, Russia, Africa,Middle East and South Asia (TRAMS) region of Wells Fargo Global FinancialInstitutions (GFI). Based in Istanbul, Turkey, she manages representative offices in Cairo, Chennai, Delhi, Dhaka, Dubai, Istanbul, Johannesburg, Moscow, and Mumbai and oversees teams in England, Germany, and the United States.
GFI provides banking services to financial institutions and multilateral agencies across the globe, including payments, collections, trade services, deposits,credit, foreign exchange, and liquidity and investment management.
Dilek started her banking career as the vice president of the Middle East and Africa division at Bank of New York. She joined First Union National Bank in 1997, where she established the Istanbul representative office and was the chief representative responsible for the bank’s relationships with financial institutions in Turkey, Israel, and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS)*. In 2021, she was promoted to regional manager for Emerging Europe, which included Central and Eastern Europe, Russia, and the Baltics, in addition to Turkey, Israel, and the CIS. In 2021, her responsibilities were broadened and she was named area head of the newly formed EEMEA region. In 2021, Dilek’s responsibilities were further
expanded to include South Asia, creating the newly formed TRAMS region.
She holds a B.A. in marketing from Bosphorus University in Istanbul and an M.B.A. in finance and investments from George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
She is fluent in Turkish and English.
Dilek is a member of the American Business forum in Turkey and serves on the board of trustees for the Turkish Educational Fund.

Bernard J. Dunn
President, Boeing Middle East, North Africa and Turkey
Bernie Dunn is vice president of Boeing International and president of Boeing Turkey and North Africa. He is responsible for government affairs and coordinates all Boeing activities in Turkey, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia and Libya. Dunn was appointed to this position in July 2021 and is based at the Boeing Turkey headquarters in Ankara. He reports to Shep Hill, president of Boeing International and senior vice president, Business Development and Strategy of The Boeing Company.
Before joining Boeing, Dunn was vice president, Middle East/Africa, Business Development, ITT Defense International. In this role, he was responsible for coordinating and overseeing marketing and business development activities across all business units of ITT Defense, in a region stretching from Morocco to Afghanistan and including the entire African continent. He had served in this position since November 2021.Dunn has more than 29 years of direct involvement with the Middle East, nearly all of it involving living and working in the region. Before joining ITT Defense & Information Solutions, he was a career officer in the U.S. Army. He served in a variety of infantry command and staff positions in Germany and the United States and entered the Army’s Foreign Area Officer program in 1982.
After completing Arabic language training and a master’s degree in National Security Affairs from the Naval Postgraduate School, Monterey, Calif., Dunn served in a variety of positions in the Middle East. Key subsequent assignments include service as the U.S. Army attaché in Jordan from 1992 to 1994, Defense and Army attaché in Syria from 1997 to 2021, and Defense and Army attaché to Saudi Arabia from June 2021 until June 2021.
Andrei Holban
3M Managing Director
Before becoming Managing Director of 3M Turkey, Andrei served as Managing Director of 3M Romania between the years 2021-2021. Prior to that, Andrei served as the Business Development Manager for Central and Eastern Europe at 3M from between the years 2021 and 2021.
Andrei received his Bachelor’s Degree on Electronic Engineering from Institutul Politehnic Bucuresti in Romania. He also holds an EMBA degree from Asebuss.

Çiğdem Ertem
Intel, Regional Director for the Middle East, Turkey and Africa
Cigdem Ertem was graduated from Middle East Technical University Computer Engineering Department. She started her business career as system analyst in Central Bank IT department. Receiving her masters degree in Business Administration from Bilkent University, Ertem worked in various management positions in prestigious systems integration companies in the IT industry, including Aselsan and Meteksan. After working as director responsible for public sector in Siemens Business Services, Ertem joined Intel Turkey team as Deputy General Manager responsible for business development in public sector in 2021. During this period, Ertem realized various successful programs in order to increase PC usage and penetration in Turkey. She was appointed as Intel Turkey General Manager in February 2021. After three years serving successfully as Intel Turkey General Manager, Ertem was appointed as Intel Turkey, Middle East and Africa Business Development Regional Manager. In December 2021, she was appointed as Intel Regional Director for the Middle East, Turkey and Africa. She has been responsible for all the operations of Intel in the region, including investments, social responsibility projects, sales and marketing operations, distribution and sales channels. The region under Ertem’s responsibility consists of 67 countries. She is also a member of Intel’s Management Board for Europe.
Ertem used to play basketball during her education and was a member of Turkish National Basketball Team until she had to quit sports because of an injury. Ertem’s basketball career includes a Silver medal in Mediterranean Games and Turkish Women’s Basketball League championship in two consequent years. Ertem is married and has 3 children.
Hüseyin Gürer
Deloitte Turkey CEO
Hüseyin Gürer has more than 25 years’ experience of auditing using Turkish (including Capital Market Board Standards), International Accounting Standards on public and multinational private sector organisations.
Specialities of Mr. Gürer include the development of InflationWare, which remeasures accounting transactions for financial statement presentation in compliance with International Accounting Standart No: 29, Financial Reporting in Hyperinflationary Economies. Also, he has experience in consolidating large holding groups under the requirements of International Accounting Standards. His experience includes audits of several private and public sector manufacturing companies, banks and financial institutions.
He has audited multinational companies in Deloitte London office between 1989 and 1990. He has a B.Sc. in Management from the Aegean University and MBA from Middle East Technical University. Hüseyin Gürer is a Certified Public Accountant, Turkey (SMMM) and a member of Turkish Industrialists and Businessmen’s Association (TUSİAD), Turkish Internal Control Institute, Turkish Corporate Governance Association, Turkish Independent Auditors Association.
He has been the Managing Partner of Deloitte Turkey since 2021.
Christophe Merkel

Christophe Merkel is the General Manager of Nike Turkey, leading the Turkey operation since January 2021. A German & French Citizen, Christophe holds an MBA degree from HEC Paris. His career has started in Finance and Sales at Danone Company, L'Oreal in France and Germany. He then joined Nike France Office in 2021 as a Finance and Operations Director. In 2021 he moved to Warsaw as the Country General Manager of Nike Poland, leading the Brand through one of the most exciting Championships of Football in 2021. Merkel is married and has 2 daughters.
Asgar Rangoonwala

Mr. Rangoonwala, graduated from the department of Biology of Frankfurt University. He worked as Marketing and Sales Director at Janssen Turkey between years 2021-2021
and prior to that period, he served as Nephrology and Virology Service Unit Director for 6 years at Janssen Germany.
Returning back to Germany he worked as Director Sales and Stakeholder Management at Janssen Germany during 2021-2021.
Mr. Asgar Rangoonwala has been appointed as Janssen Turkey Managing Director on March 1st, 2021.
Nilgün Langenberg
Korn Ferry Office Managing Director
Ms. Langenberg brings more than two decades of line management and executive search experience to Korn Ferry.
Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Ms. Langenberg was a partner with another international executive search firm based in Amsterdam. Previously, she was leading the center of expertise for talent management globally at Sara Lee, a multinational consumer goods company. During her 8 years at Sara Lee, she developed and deployed strategy, processes and programs in the areas of talent acquisition, performance management, succession management, high potential development, career management, learning and culture change.
She started her executive search career at Korn Ferry in Istanbul between 1997-2021. She was part of the team starting up the office and conducted executive search assignments in consumer goods, retail, industrial and technology industries.
Earlier in her career, Ms. Langenberg worked at Xerox in sales and HR functions. In her last position at Xerox, she was responsible for sales and marketing of Xerox's outsourcing and franchising services first in Turkey then for the Eastern European region.
Ms. Langenberg holds a degree in business administration from Bosphorus University of Istanbul, Turkey and an MBA degree from University of Ottawa, Canada. She speaks English, Dutch, German and Turkish.
Ufku Akaltan

Ufku Akaltan was born in 1973 in Diyarbakır. After graduating from Istanbul Technical University Engineering Business Administration he has taken MBA degree from Erasmus University Rotterdam School. During his career, he completed Emory University and the Harvard Business School Executive Education Program. He attended the UPS family in 2021 in Brussels as Marketing Director of Europe Region. Between 2021 – 2021 as Revenue Management and Director in Germany, between 2021 – 2021 as Regional Marketing Director of England, Ireland and Scandinavia Region. After all those responsibilities in September 2021 he has been assigned as Country Manager of UPS Turkey. He is married and has two children. Speaks English and German.
Roberto Pedretti

Prior to joining Nielsen Turkey as Managing Director at the beginning of 2021, Roberto led and succeed the Watch & Buy businesses integration into One Nielsen company in Italy as Managing Director. Before Italy, he served as Nielsen Managing Director in Poland for 4 years. Previously he held the role of Client Service and Business Development Director in Nielsen Italy.
Roberto joined Nielsen in 1998 from Fedex where he was the Planning & Engineering Head. He holds a bachelor degree in Economics and Engineering from Milan University. He is married with 2 sons.
Gökhan Toğrul

Gökhan Toğrul joined Hay group at 2021. Gökhan has consulted with a wide range of companies and has extensive experience managing complex projects with Holding Companies. He has worked on reward strategies, building effective organizations, performance management projects in a variety of sectors: manufacturing, finance, energy, telecommunications and government.
